Registration Policies

• Lessons are taught in a half hour time slot once per week at $20 per lesson.  45 minute lessons $28 per lesson. One hour lessons are $35 per lesson. Semi-Private lessons (two students in one lesson) add $5 per lesson. 

 

• Payment for the first month shall be pro-rated and must be paid prior to the first lesson. If the student starts after the 15th of the month, then the first payment will include the pro-rated amount for that month, as well as payment for the up and coming month. All subsequent payments are due on the 15th of each month. 

 

• A single trial lesson is available free of charge.

 

Tuition is charged on a recurring, monthly basis. It is a fixed amount and not based on the number of lessons per month. There can be three lessons in some months, five in others, but most months there are four lessons. The amount of tuition will be the same for all of these months. Prices per month are as follows;

Cancellation Policies 

• One cancellation within a three month period is credited or rescheduled and unused cancellations in these periods are separate and not cumulative. All other cancellations within this period are non-refundable but we will attempt to schedule a makeup lesson if a time slot is available. Makeup lessons are not guaranteed. 

 

• Notification for a cancellation should be given 24 hours prior to a lesson if possible. If a student does not show up for the lesson and does not notify the teacher, the lesson is forfeited unless they have an allowable cancellation day (see above). We will give as much grace as possible for emergencies.

 

• If the teacher misses a lesson, a makeup lesson will be made available or a credit will be given to the student.

 

• 15 days of notice should be given if any student decides to stop their lesson schedule. Any remaining lessons that were purchased are non- refundable.

 

These cancellation policies are in place to provide flexibility and grace to the student and also to protect the monthly income of the teacher. Your payment is reserving a time slot each week of the month.

 

Vacations and Holidays

There will be a one week shutdown for Summer break, Winter break and Spring break. There will not be lessons for some of the standard American holidays, which are as follows; New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
